The terminology of automobiles and hotrodding evolves as time progresses but with todays apparent lack of concern about the English language it is getting difficult to communicate in person let alone in writing.
 
I will be listing various terms and the terms often heard around the swap meets and garages which make it ever harder to figure what folks are talking about.
 
 
 
*Rolled pan: usually refers to a fabricated lower panel at the front or rear of a car truck which is curved down and under rather like early rocker panels. They may be modified to hold a license plate or parking/back-up lights and sometimes even exhaust pipes. (roll pan)
