From Crankshaft Coalition Wiki
I'm Jon. I'm the founder of the Crankshaft Coalition wiki, and the administrator of the Hotrodders Bulletin Board.
Right now, I'm focusing most of my wiki-attention on the following two articles. Feel free to lend a hand:
Rust is an attempt to frame an article by analyzing forum threads. I started by searching the Hotrodders Bulletin Board database for every discussion with "rust" in the title; 418 discussions were returned. I read through those, taking notes, and referencing 85 of them in the Rust article. They were also mined for links, resulting in dozens of additional rust references.
Early Hemi History and Identification was forked from HotRodsandHemis.com, contributed by the author, Centerline. I'd like to flesh out the history section, add some more photos, and possibly turn the ID'ing section into an article of its own.
[edit] Articles
I've also put in some time on the following articles:
- Removing rusted and broken fasteners
- John Deere Blitz Black paint
- How to title a hot rod
- Chrysler Hemi engine
- Homologation
[edit] These need pics
Need some pics for these articles, upload them if you can:
- Homologation (The following would work: photo of a 426 hemi engine, a "Police" performance part, or a Pontiac GTO.)
- Epoxy primer (This one just needs a photograph of some cans of epoxy primer and hardener.)
- Chrysler Hemi engine, Rebuilding an early Hemi engine, and Early Hemi engine specifications (Needs a photo of a 426 Hemi engine, an early Hemi engine, an early Hemi engine on an engine stand being rebuilt, and a photo showing the hemispherical heads.)
