Has anyone swapped a full frame for the original frame on 46-48 Chevys? | + | The Caprice may be a little too wide and look awkward on the far-narrower early Stovebolt. A better match may be had with the frame from a G-body GM, like the '78-'86 Monte Carlo, Cutlass Supreme, El Camino, etc. | ||

| + | I made my own chassis for my 46 fleetmaster using the front clip from a '74 camaro and the mid and rear sections of a '77 Malibu, I welded together both sections to the correct wheelbase. | ||
