When threading a blind hole. The best way to clean out the chips is to use a ball inflater needle in a blow gun. I made a adapter using a 1/8 npt fitting (which is a close thread to a blow gun nozzle) to adapt the inflater to it. This is the fastest way I found to clean out chips and junk out. To keep chips from falling into an engine eg. Spark plug hole, put axle grease on the tap. This will catch most if not all the chips from falling into the engine.
