Ever wondered what tire size would fit under your car or rod? Things just got a little easier with this calculator. Punch in the numbers and see what comes out the other end to fit under your new project.

You can compare up to four different sizes of tires to get the 'right' one.

Here is an example of how to calculate the diameter of a tire.

Tire size 205/70-15

205 is the width in millimeters. 70 is the height of the sidewall in percentage of its width. 15 is the rim size.

So you just need to calculate the height of the sidewall, multiply it by two and add it to the rim diameter. 25.4mm is equal to one inch.

[(205 * .70)*2]/25.4 + 15 = 26.3"
