This procedure is probably more drag race related than street rod, but good information/knowledge will always benefit somebody. Although this article and photo description is on the popular 8.8 Ford rear, the same procedure can be used on the 10-12 bolt GM rears as well. I will try and qualify myself as a much better rear end builder than a photographer. Hopefully the attached link will be of help to those who are interested.
