I was thinking of bullding something that won't take to the cleaners.anything like a mustang or camero is over the top.I was thinking of picking up a 6cyl.mavrick and droping in a 300 cu.in.6.is this possible?i was thinking that since the 6cyl.cars are more available then the 8s it would be a cheaper project.do they make any speed parts for the 300 and is it a good choice.any help will be great

You will find that the 300 is too long to fit into the engine bay of a Ford Maverick without some form of major modification to the engine compartment. Here is a link to a page with information on hopping up a Ford 144 to 250 [http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/wiki/Ford_144-250_inline_6_High_performance_building Ford 144-250 inline 6 High performance building]
