It was a love of cars that both his father and his grandfather instilled in him, Ott said.<br><br>In 1972, Mr. Yeager and a group of Ford enthusiasts began a local chapter of the Early Ford V 8 Club, which is dedicated to restoring and preserving Ford Motor Co. vehicles produced between 1932 and 1953, said Ott.<br><br>His granddaughter Dina Pater of Wexford recalled what a stickler Mr. Yeager was about not exposing his prized cars to inclement weather, but he made an occasional exception.
