I used to overhaul about 10 alternators a week,until Ford started to get outragess with the price of diode plates,stators,& rotors.It was cheaper to put a rebuilt unit in the car so it wouldn't blow the customer out.These units were worthless also cause the Factory authorized rebuilder would,would use the cheapest parts they could find.
