Chicago Resort Evacuated Due To Chlorine Leak

(Reuters) - A suburban Chicago Hyatt Regency Lodge was evacuated early on Sunday after an individual intentionally triggered a chlorine gasoline leak that despatched 19 people to the healthcare facility with dizziness, nausea and other indications, authorities explained.<br>Firefighters responded to a report of noxious odors on the 9th floor of the 12-tale lodge in Rosemont, Illinois, in close proximity to O'Hare International Airport at about twelve:40 a.m., the Rosemont Public Basic safety Division said in a geared up statement.<br>Technicians uncovered the source of the odor to be chlorine on a 9th floor stairwell that was introduced in what appeared to be an intentional method, the assertion explained. The incident continues to be under investigation.<br>Guests ended up evacuated from the one,a hundred-area hotel to the nearby conference middle as specialists decontaminated and ventilated the area and carried out checks.
