I am also building a 47 Chevrolet mine is a 4 door. The frames are all the same. The only one that is different is the station wagon and sedan delivery. Most of the stock frames that I have seen put under have been camaro clips with camaro rears. I did see a car with a Malibu frame but it was to wide for the body. I have been looking at the S 10 frame but I am still not sure I will go that way. I did see an article in Hot Rod Magazine were someone had done this but it did not give me much help. The owner did say that it fit right under without any changes. I find that hard to believe. I like the S 10 frame because of the leaf springs but Curie rears tech support told me that 4 link would be better. Fatman does make a frame up grade for the 47 stock frame that has everything needed or wanted at about $2000 up. They weld/bolt in front axle to axle with disc brakes, motor mounds and power steering.  good luck Charles
