For anyone who is consistently striking out when it comes to making money on the internet, then MLM might seem like the perfect opportunity. The truth is that this is one field that is rife with untruths, scams and people taking advantage of each other. You couldn't possibly be really considering this. Obviously, you are moving on to something else. However, multi level marketing might seem attractive, even with all of its flaws. If for some strange reason you still feel compelled to try multi level marketing, then maybe the following reasons can help you to break free. MLM opportunities have been touted as a superior business model, capable of making almost anyone money their first time out. This is not true at all. Sadly, less than 1% of those that invest their hard-earned money into an MLM turn a profit of any amount. Starting an online business, promoting your products and services, will probably make you more cash. There are a lot of reasons for this, not the least of which is that the MLM business model is, at its nicest description, "shaky"? The entire system will crash to the ground if even a simple bookkeeping error is made. They want you to believe that MLM is not a pyramid scam because people are receiving physical products. The truth is that the way in which MLM is set up is almost exactly like those pyramid schemes. Just because you are promoting products and not mailing your money to another person, this does not remove the possibility for a scam. The courts had to decide on many of these instances because people could not tell the difference between the real thing and a scam. You can sell a maximum of 30 percent to distributors. Anytime that the numbers are different, then it is a scam. The recruiters for MLM will tell people that they can turn into a success financially by getting into multi level marketing. This is false. For one thing, it is ridiculously difficult to earn any sort of real money through multi level marketing. When money is made, it goes to the people at the top of the pyramid. Then, you will also be responsible for MLM fees. Also, you will get stuck with dishing out money for membership dues in addition to fees for missing project deadlines. Sadly enough, you will probably lose money as a result of all of the fees. Multi-Level Marketing, on the surface, seems like a great plan. This is why new internet surfers usually fall into the trap. Do not fall for this crap. The things said in this article are only some of the reasons of why MLM is not a good deal in the long run. If you looked in the right places, you could find more reasons on your own.
