Editing How to get 350 to tdc with heads off

How do i get my 350 to tdc with the heads off..


'''You bolt ''' on a piston stop to the deck of the block ... I would suggest you do that on piston number 1.

Bolt a degree wheel onto the crank shaft.. with a pointer.  Rotate the engine crank around till the piston hits the stop. Mark the location on the degree wheel.

Rotate the crank shaft the other direction till the piston hits the stop again, note the location the degree wheel.

Split the two marks on the degree wheel in half... that is TDC
