Wikimedia CommonsThe Federal Reserve produced its newest beige reserve of anecdotes from its districts on Wednesday afternoon.<br>Consumer paying improved across most all of the Fed's twelve regional districts.<br><br>But at least in New York, the Fed's contacts point out that points aren't searching good on Broadway.<br>This is the appropriate excerpt, from the Fed's New York district:<br><br>"Tourism exercise has proven further more signals of slowing - specially in New York Town, where the two motels and Broadway theaters report slowing company and declining revenues, and a main retailer characteristics latest weak point to lowered tourism. Buffalo place lodges also report reduce occupancy costs but suggest that foreseeable future bookings seem promising. In spite of the common softness in consumer spending and tourism, shopper assurance in the region (NY, NJ, Pa) surged in June, achieving its best amount since ahead of the recession.<br><br>The Fed also noted that tourism improved in all the districts other than New York, "exactly where there had been more indications of slowing."<br>Not very good.<br>SEE ALSO: The Fed sees just 'modest' wage pressures
