Nowadays, Auschwitz birkenau is a really peaceful location, found in the region of Małopolska (Poland). Not everyone knows though, that during the World War II the Nazis changed this into a mass extermination dying camp, which took lives of far more that one million people (mostly Jews, but additionally Poles, Russians, Gypsies and several more).
