(Reuters) - A suburban Chicago Hyatt Regency Lodge was evacuated early on Sunday right after someone intentionally brought on a chlorine fuel leak that sent 19 people today to the medical center with dizziness, nausea and other signs or symptoms, authorities said.<br>Firefighters responded to a report of noxious odors on the 9th floor of the twelve-tale hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, near O'Hare Worldwide Airport at about twelve:40 a.m., the Rosemont Community Protection Office mentioned in a prepared statement.<br>Technicians identified the resource of the odor to be chlorine on a 9th floor stairwell that was launched in what appeared to be an intentional way, the statement stated. The incident remains under investigation.<br>Guests have been evacuated from the 1,one hundred-space lodge to the nearby convention center as professionals decontaminated and ventilated the spot and performed checks. The lodge was later on decided safe and folks had been allowed again in at about four:thirty a.m. regional time.<br>The incident happened as the hotel hosted a convention of Midwest FurFest, a group that honors and promotes animal people witnessed in comics, tv and films.
