I just want to thank everyone for contributing to this discussion on freeing a stuck engine. I have listened to a number of people and talked to many people on the car sites, but this has to be the most comprehensive article I have read or heard about. I am in the process of trying to free up a very expensive engine (392 cu in Chyrsler) and have done some of the steps with no success. As it warms up outside, I will just give it another try, with some of your hints rolled in to the process. One upside, is the engine has had a chance to 'soak down' as I sprayed the cylinders with Kroil and made a mixture of two gallons of kerosene and one quart of transmission fluid to go down the intake manifold. Good news is that much of the mixture has found it's way down to the pan. | I just want to thank everyone for contributing to this discussion on freeing a stuck engine.
