At the tip of 2012, I 'd picked up a brand new set of jeans since my old appliances fit too small ... Just a few weeks later I realized they didn't fit. The accelerated weight in such a short time span compelled me steps to do something about it.

It was not just the weight that worried me. Everything seemed to be wrong with me because I had things like puffy eyes, dry skin, gut problems, and I was beyond tired all the time.

Exercising with no energy did not help my weight. Unless they have hypothyroidism themselves, people don't seem to comprehend this situation. Has not something that you should do with being lazy !

As I was hoping for an approach to reduce weight with an underactive thyroid, I found that the best way to do it would be through two simple things: fasting and juicing.

See I did have tried a bunch of different diets like paleo diet, 80/10/10 diet, among many others. I was also told about all kinds of supplements for your thyroid, but most are not needed and too expensive

A better alternative that doesn't even cost money is fasting !! Better yet it really saves money!

If you are planning on fasting, know that there are many ways to go about it, but the best way is by juicing while fasting

I basically went lots of days as I possibly could without eating solid food and "eating" some sort of green juice or red juice.

I originally set a target to complete it for 3 days, but after those 3 days I decided to do a full week. Before I knew it, I performed lots of fasting and juicing over a period of 90-days !!

That had been my biggest change and how I lost weight.

The green juices were made with:

2 green apples

4 leaves of kale

a dosage of baby spinach

1 medium cucumber

My red juices were just a simple ABC juice:

Beets

Carrots

I make sure to use organic ingredients, and it is important to note that beets are very detoxifying. If you have not suffered a beet juice before, I recommend you use only a little amount to build and start up.

This happened one that I started doing without planning to lose weight. It was actually more of a detox program I desired to weight and do loss was simply a by product.
