With all the Mary Kay marketing plan available, it's natural for most people to wonder if they're able to make real money online. Sadly, far too many people immediately aim for Mary Kay offers as their way to bring in some extra cash, only to learn that it isn't working for them and they end up back in a day job. Mary Kay, or Multi-Level Marketing, is all about trying to recruit new people to promote the same things you are in order for you to try and earn a bit of commission from their hard work. This type of business model is inherently flawed, yet the slick advertising for Mary Kay makes people believe it's the best opportunity available. Before you fall for the hype of one of these flawed schemes, think about the following things. One of the more blatant lies circulated by Mary Kay companies is that their new system offers such an easy way to earn lots of money very quickly so that recruits can achieve financial freedom. Yet, Mary Kay isn't a 'new' opportunity, as it's been around in one form or another for decades. It has been online practically since the Internet became popular and before that it was done as door to door sales. This long history is a part of the reason why so many people work hard to avoid Mary Kay. This is also the reason why new-comers to Mary Kay find it difficult to recruit new people. Those who are in multi level marketing think of it as a good thing. However, this is far from the truth because fear is a major player in the Mary Kay world. Multi level marketing recruits get the interest of people because they scare them into thinking that they cannot do any better due to the way that the job market is steadily going down. This fear is used to make people want to make money on their own and then used play on their insecurity and need to make quotas to stay in the game. This is not even remotely friendly, affirming or positive, is it? The sales process you'll be forced to use to sell products and hire people is similar. A lie that is told to many new recruits in most any Mary Kay business is that the products they are selling will soon be offered in retail stores, right after they have been sold to their downline. The truth is that most of the products that are sold through multi level marketing are sold to the people who are trying to resell the products for their own profiting purposes. Mary Kay products are typically found on eBay, and seldom in retail stores, because the only people that are buying them are those in the company trying to turn the sale. The Mary Kay business model has always been fraught with flaws and problems, so much so that it's more akin to a scam. Yet, the industry still manages to attract more newbies to give it a shot, and so it remains. Those poor people who are dragged into Mary Kay after believing the hype are the ones who lose money, lose time, lose friends and family members, and then lose hope that it's possible to ever make any real money online. Don't become guilty of making this same error with your own online business endeavors.
