Trans fixture discussion/Editing 'User talk' page

I saw your message on Neighbor's user page, and moved it to the talk page for his user page. You can use a user's talk page for discussions with that user; the user page itself is used to describe the user ("Hi, I'm Jon, I'm a wiki administrator..."). I know this is confusing; the advantage is that, when a user's talk page is altered, that user will get a prominent notification at the top of the screen (and also possibly an email notification). This way, you can use a user's talk page as a messaging system. This is the equivalent of the PM system in a forum, but, since it's public, it's more of a Public Message than a Private Message.--Jon 16:40, 12 February 2012 (MST)

In the case where a member's 'User' page has not been created (like Neighbors', yesterday) do I use the 'Discussion' tab of the yet-to-be-created User page for adding a comment, question, etc.?

Articles to feature in newsletter and carousels

I'd like to feature some wiki articles in the Hotrodders.com image carousels and weekly newsletter. Suggestions? Needs to be a good article that has been either recently started or recently improved upon significantly, with a really good pic.--Jon 11:51, 11 March 2012 (MDT)
