Troubleshooting Ford-O-Matic transmissions

I have a 1961 tbird conv. w/ 4bld 390c.i./300hp eng. Am having trouble with fordomatic tranny slipping from "Park" to "reverse". I am not a tranny expert, but the problem seems to be in the sreering column ?? could someone clue me in the right direction on possible repair?


Check your shift linkage from the column to the trans. IF you have no clue on this , find help local to you. This could be dangerous if the car rolls over a person
