Swapping out a T350 transmission for a 700R4.

This swap to the 700r4 / 4L60 transmission requires several changes.

  • The over drive transmission ( 700r4) is longer.
  • The 4x4 out put shaft of the 700r4 is longer and requires a shaft change to a custom shaft from Advance Adapters.
  • Cross members must be moved.
  • Drive shaft lengths may need a change depending on the truck. Lift kit or not?
  • You need to hook up electric to the 700r4 transmission for converter lock up control
