master list of 80+ hotrodding forums

I thought this would be an excellent starter project for the Coalition.

I've compiled a list of hotrodding forums. Over 80 are listed so far. You can view the full list here: master list of hotrodding forums.

Please feel free to add to the list. Either suggest a new forum in this thread, or use the suggestion forum on the master list page.

We're already up to 90 forums listed . Suggestions have been coming in through the submission form, and from this thread on the Hotrodders Bulletin Board.

Just added the 100th hotrodding forum to the list .

Soon it will be time to write descriptions for each one, and to separate them out into organized pages.

The complete list is here:

now over 100 forums

I just finished searching through a list of Bravenet automotive forums. Most were too low-traffic to add, but I found two more to put on the list, including a Nash Metropolitan bulletin board.

Anyway, that makes 102 . Here's the master list: click.

We're up to 104 now. I've added Classical Pontiac Q&A and the S-Series.org Forums.

I'm uncertain as to how much S-series trucks qualify as "hot rods". However, I've allowed two such forums onto the list so far.

We're now up to 126 hotrodding forums listed .

I've recently reviewed every site on the list, and I noticed that some forums had changed their settings such that membership is now required to view threads. I'm not sure how to handle this. Initially, only forums with publicly-viewable threads were allowed onto the list, which means that some excellent forums, such as the ShoeboxFord.com forums, were excluded.

Should these forums now be excluded? Or should they be included on the list, with a "membership required" note?

This list is at 133 now.

I've added a "Garage - Tools" category.

I've decided to exclude forums if you can't access their content without a username/password. This essentially makes their information inaccessible to the vast majority of search engine spiders.

I'm also trying to make reasonable distinctions as to what qualifies as a "hotrodding" forum, and what does not. Tough one.

135 now. Also, I've added a Rollyo search box to the Master List page.
