We're an online community for automotive webmasters and forum administrators, led by Hotrodders.com. We formed after the forced takedown of an Australian hotrodding forum. Our mission is to educate leaders of the online automotive community, and to organize and distribute automotive knowledge through the web.

If you're a web developer interested in working on new open source software that connects large communities around a shared source of knowledge, check out the stuff in our Coalition Knowledge Projects forum. We're working on ideas for a web-based RSS aggregator for automotive tech info, a free automotive photojournal for documenting tech projects, and a distributed method for handling common automotive questions.

If you're interested in the legal implications of intellectual freedom or online knowledge-sharing, you might like our Freedom of Information forum. We've highlighted some of the basic legal concerns for automotive webmasters, and we're doing research in the hopes of sharing "best practices" for information-handling in large online automotive communities.
